2-DAY 1-NIGHT Komodo Liveaboard Tour
We’ll pick you up at the airport or your hotel in Labuan Bajo for two days of sailing on a traditional Phinisi ship, trekking, snorkeling, and celebrating on several local islands. Visit Kelor, Menierite, Padar, Kanawa, and of course, Komodo Island to see the big guy at home. Stroll along or swin at the Komodo Island Pink Beach. Along the way you’ll see splendid views from mountains, stunning ocean fishes, multicolored corals, and thousands of fox bats soaring in the sky.

DAY 1: Labuan Bajo to Kelor, Menjerite, and Kalong Islands
- Your local guide will pick you up at Komodo Airport or your hotel and drive you to the Labuan Bajo Harbor in a vehicle with air conditioning.
- You’ll check in at your boat, then cruise to Kelor Island, a lovely small island with great views and snorkeling from the beach.
- Midday you’ll cruise to Menjerite Island for more snorkeling around the jetty. Beautiful fish and coral will greet you.
- In the afternoon you’ll sail over to Kalong Island. Around 5 to 6 pm, thousands of fox bats will flying just over your boat as the sun is setting across the water.
- Your boat will anchor near the island for an onboard dinner and a peaceful night.
DAY 2: The Komodo Island Pink Beach, the famous dragons, and Kanawa Island
- Early morning cruise to Padar Island for a trek on paved steps to hilltop for White Sand Bay view (30-minute to 1-hour hike)
- Back down to sea level for a cruise to the popular Pink Beach at Long Bay on the other side of the island.
- Noon cruise to Komodo Island. A local park ranger will share legends and facts about Komodo Dragons (called Ora by the locals) and how to act while visiting their natural habitat. (A must before exploring the island!) A naturalist guide will lead you on the tour after settling on what kind of trek: short or long, flat ground and/or hill zones.
- Hike back to the boat and cruise over to Kanawa Island for splendid snorkeling and beachcombing!
- Late afternoon cruise back to Labuan Bajo.
